“ I dropped by for a quick breakfast, and although I got what I came for: a hot sandwich and quick service, the quality of the food and the beautiful sight of a counter full with enticing and unique bagels filled me with regret for not having the time to stay and fully sample this haven of bagel excellence. Fair warning: the building itself is small, so while it is very comfortable if you can cop a seat, it can easily get crowded, so be ready to walk out with your order if you come in during peak hours. Now onto the food: I had a Cottons, and I was summarily impressed by how generously stacked the sandwich was, and upon taking my first bite, I could only nod my head in delight while chewing through the delightfully warm contents of my perfectly toasted bagel sandwich. After that quick bite, I left the venue and took one last look at the sweet cinnamon raisin bagels that were tugging at my soul from behind the glass. I will be back, and this time I'll bring all my appetite. ”

“ Bagel Shack in Dana Point makes some tasty bagels. My first time here because I was looking for a Starbucks and it so happens that Albertsons has one and The Bagel Shack was right next door. So I ordered a delicious lox bagel with jalapeño cheddar as the bagel. The taste was delicious together. A hint of cheesiness and spice all added together. They didn't skimp out on any of the ingredients and I would come back here to try another bagel. ”

We ordered few bagel sandwiches off the menu, there is also a bagel wall where customers can purchase their desired amount of freshly baked bagels, as well as choose from an assortment of cream cheeses and/or freshly squeezed juice. So glad we popped in here on our trip to Dana Point this weekend. Highly recommend stopping in! ”

“ This bagel shop is probably one of the busiest bagel shops in and around south Orange County. They have a great variety of bagels, juices, smoothies and delicious sandwiches. The place can get a little bit crowded at times, but it's worth the wait. I enjoyed the jalapeño cheese bagel. Heated it for about 12 seconds in the microwave, it came out perfect. Maybe next time I'll try the everything bagel. ”

“ The Bagel Shqck is a great little local business with a couple of locations around town. It has a very simple beach vibe and there's usually a surf movie playing on a screen in the space. There's even a little sit down Pac-Man and Galaga game system for kids while everyone waits for food. The standard bagels at bagel shack are delicious. They have lots of flavors and varieties, from the simplest plain to an excellent everything and all sorts of delicious cheese covered ones and fruit flavored ones as well. They also carry a large variety of cream cheeses, and sandwich toppings. One of my favorite sandwiches is the Lowers, which has cream cheese and avocado on it with lemon pepper to which I usually add bacon. Usually this location has gluten-free everything or plain bagels, but it is not guaranteed and you definitely have to ask. Apparently it takes seven days to make a gluten-free bagel so there are only so many on site at any given time! Service is local kids very much in the high school era, which means that it is polite, but sometimes a little glassy eyed. Coffee is fine and they usually have half-and-half and French vanilla creamer to mix it in. If you're not looking for a bagel, they also do Smoothies and my people love the açai smoothie. I go to this business a lot, and will keep going here for years to come. ”
